![]() I keep finding accounts from people who have achieved it but there is never any way to follow the process fully with links to the right drivers or whatever. I trawled through everything I could find on the Prolific website and downloaded what seemed to be the relevant drivers but still, there is no communication between CHIRP and the radio. Vendor ID:Đx067b (Prolific Technology, Inc.) Just recently, I thought I would have another go and bought a cable which appears in System Profile as: ![]() I'm sure there is a way to get the at least one cable recognised but up until now, I have sent them all back when I have exhausted all apparent possibilities. I have bought a number of USB to Serial cables and tried various drivers as recommended on the CHIRP website and the labyrinths I have entered on my quest. I have three versions of OS X at my disposal on different devices, Catalina, El Capitan and Snow Leopard so any solution which would work would satisfy me! ![]() ![]() I have been trying to use CHIRP software on several Macs and a Baofeng UV-5R for about three years without any success. ![]()
